Become a Member
Qualified Member

 Qualifying factors are at least 1 of the 3:

  • Active involvement in Early Intervention

  • An IEP in the school

  • an official diagnosis of Autism or similar intellectual and/or developmental delay or disability

General Member
These members also go through the intake process but donʻt qualify.  Examples of General Members:
  • Individuals with other disabilities
  • ADHD not an IEP
  • Keiki on 504 plans
  • Keiki experiencing mental health or trauma needs for support
  • Individuals with sensory processing differences
  • All keiki in general

These often include siblings of a qualified member as well, and while we try to include keiki as much as possible in our rotation of private therapeutic alternatives, we reserve these specialized accommodations for those keiki that would not experience these activities any other way due to their disability

What You Can Expect

Qualified Members

Services that qualified members are included in as they become available:

  • Invites to private group events

  • Invites to support groups

  • Rotational invites to our very popular Private Therapeutic Alternatives which are immersive and engaging experiences we host with small businesses in our community (i.e. sound baths in the cloud forest, sensory friendly flight of aloha, group yoga, paddleboarding, etc)

  • Qualification for respite packages based on funding / extreme need

  • Closely monitored family consult to build awareness, to set goals, and to advocate when necessary.

General Members

Services that general members are included in:  

  • Mailing lists for community events both from our organization and community partners (parades, sensory festival, community booths, conferences and classes)

  • Sensory -friendly movies and other sensory-friendly curated partnerships

  • Volunteer opportunities and teen mentorship experiences

  • Advocacy in the schools and with health insurance challenges

  • Short notice / wait list for our private programs. 

Our outreach is directly through text message or private facebook group for private events, and we share our public events on social media and our website.

We work hard through our intake process and will temporarily qualify a member if it is determined they need one of the above established.  We encourage engagement with support services and community resources, and support the parents to take that next step.
