Today, there are a number of advocacy efforts every day of the year, yet this visual display demonstrates an international movement for support and Acceptance, and the overall improvement toward a more accommodating and inclusive Autism community.

Autism Support in Hawai'i Nei

Starting in 2023, Hulihe’e Palace is the first Native Hawaiian historical landmark to light up in a blue hue to lend their support for the Autism community and active efforts to enhance cultural and educational pursuits for the local Kona community.

This initiative is led by Autism Moms of Kona to further early learning and development for individuals on the spectrum, and to provide comprehensive support services for those nurturing a loved one with Profound Autism.
